Hygia Superspeciality Hospital is proud to share the successful completion of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program “Lipid Nexus – Where Knowledge Connects Practice.” The academic session was organized in association with the North Kamrup Doctors Association with educational support from Mankind Pharma.
The CME was held on 6th March 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Galaxy Dine, Jalimura, Rangia Road, Kamrup, Assam, and witnessed active participation from physicians and healthcare professionals from across the region. Lipid Nexus-2
The program featured two insightful lectures addressing critical aspects of cardiovascular disease management.
The first session was delivered by Dr. Samorjit Saikia (MBBS, DA, MD) who highlighted the importance of early recognition and timely management of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in primary care settings. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Minturanjan Dutta, CEO, Hygia Superspeciality Hospital, who highlighted the institution’s vision of promoting continuous medical learning and collaborative healthcare.
The main scientific presentation was delivered by Dr. Bikash Rai Das, Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon, who elaborated on the clinical relevance, safety considerations, and practical applications of beta blockers, with special emphasis on Bisoprolol in routine cardiovascular practice.
